The winery with its unique products
The winey Kaltenecker, located in Rechnitz in southern Burgenland, produces wines of special quality thanks to its sunny location on the Geschriebenstein.
On the light slate primary rock soils with many hours of sunshine and moderate rainfall, Kaltenecker wines ripen at up to 500m above sea level. Due to this special conditions, its wines can develop a variety of flavors that are neither comparable with the rest of Burgenland nor with Styria.
Uhudler Frizzante

Blaufränkisch

The Blaufränkisch is characterized by its rich dark red, with a refreshing acid level. The full, velvety taste gives the necessary depth. The peppery, spicy note in combination with the scent of rose blossoms and currants give it the taste experience with that certain something.
